Postnatal Pilates – COMING SOON

‘A baby is a reason not an excuse.’

I provide bespoke classes aimed at new mummies. Babies are welcome to lie on mats or watch from the safety of their buggies or car seats.

Postnatal pilates focuses on those all-important pelvic floor muscles.  It also helps new mums regain core stability and reduces diastasic recti (abdominal seperation). The classes focus on reducing back ache and strains, improving posture and flexibility and all over body toning and strengthening. They also provide an opportunity to meet other liked-minded local mums and have a good natter whilst getting fit.

Generally clients need to be 6 weeks postnatal or 10 weeks post C section to participate. However, if you feel ready before, and your GP has approved you for exercise sooner, then you are welcome to join as the class provides ideal rehabilitation after childbirth.

Babies are welcome from 6 weeks until they are crawling, however if you have a new crawler who would be happy to play with some toys whilst you exercise then we can arrange this. 

I accept a maximum of 10 people per class (not including babies).
